S.. This address is found on the southeast corner of LaSalle and Madison Street in Cook County, Illinois across the Madison Street from the One North LaSalle Building. The building sits on a web {site} of a former metropolis building once} served as a National Weather Service forecast official climate site and replaced Major Block one after the nice Chicago fireplace. This building has incorporated the frontage of different buildings east of the first web site of Major Block one.
The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places (under the name Lumber Exchange Building and Tower Addition) on Gregorian calendar month half-dozen, 2007, and named a Chicago Landmark on Gregorian calendar month twelve, 2007. It incorporates the lands of the previous DeSoto Building and former Farewell Hall.
