Renews–Cappahayden could be a little fishing city on the southern shore of Newfoundland, eighty three kilometres south of St. John’s.The city was incorporated within the mid-1960s by amalgamating the once freelance villages of Renews and Cappahayden.The village was 1st settled by migratory fishermen so by colonists. The colony was 1st planned in 1610 by the London and urban center Company, that had antecedently started associate English colony at Cuper’s Cove, however settlement was delayed by the presence of the pirate Peter Easton.
