Remington could be a city in Carpenter administrative division, opaque gem County, Indiana, us. The population was one,185 at the 2010 census. Remington was 1st set enter 1860 by Jesse H. Fordice. It had been originally known as Carpenter Station, once Carpenter’s Creek wherever a depot had been established, around that the city grew. The name was later modified to Remington, once the founding father of the overall store. The most trade was in grain, because the space consisted of fantastic grassland farmland; the town’s position on the urban center, Chicago and St. Joe Louis Railroad created it a decent location for such trade. The primary grain elevator was inbuilt 1870 by Church and Hartley; the second was designed by the Anne Hathaway Brothers in 1872; and in 1879, James Irvin designed a 3rd. In 1883 the population was concerning 900.
