Detail InformationEdit

The Puppet Theatre “Pleciuga” was set up over 50 years ago in Szczecin. The theatre usually stages four premiere performances a year. The repertoire of „Pleciuga”, which tries to cater for both children and young people, includes not only large performances (like e.g. „Timothy among birds” by J.Wilkowski and „Rapunzel” by Maj), but also smaller theatre forms (such as „Little Tiny or Thumbelina” by H.Ch. Andersen), while at the same time using various techniques of puppet theatre. „Pleciuga” systematically presents its creative art both at home and abroad, and even in places that normally would not be considered „theatrical”. The theatre has got its own seat including plastic workshops and two stages: Stage (230 places) and Rehearsal Room, where only performances for youth and adult audiences are staged.
