Pujehun is a rural town in Pujehun District in the Southern Province of Sierra Leone. The town is the capital and second largest city of the Pujehun District. The Mende language along with the Krio language are widely spoken in the town. Pujehun lies about 205 miles south-south-east of the nation’s capital, Freetown. The town is a stronghold of the Sierra Leone People’s Party, the main opposition party in Sierra Leone.
