The palace was erected in Classical style at the turn of the 18th and 19th century, on on the foundations of former building form 17th century. The Lubomirski family, who were the owners of the palace employed famous artists and architects to refurbish the building – Jan Griesmayer, Christian Piotr Aigner, and also a stucco decorator Fryderyk Bauman. The Palace, which was built in 1807, in the mid-19th century was extended according to the project of Feliks Księżarski. The building got a present architectural form. Currently the palatial complex houses the Museum of Przeworsk. The museum collection has been divided into three sections: The Town and Region History, Palatial Interiors, the History of Firefighting.
