Provo /ˈproʊvoʊ/ is that the third-largest town within the U.S. State of Mormon State, situated concerning forty three miles (69 km) south of Salt Lake town on the Wasatch Front. City is that the seat of Mormon State County and is that the largest town in Mormon State County. It lies between the cities of Orem to the north and Springville to the south. With a population at the 2010 census of 112,488, city is that the principal town within the Provo-Orem metropolitan space, that had a population of 526,810 residents at the 2010 census. It’s the third-largest railroad space within the state behind Salt Lake town and Ogden-Clearfield.
