In 1866, [LDS] pioneers arrived within the northern finish of the Cache vale, stretching across southeastern ID and northeastern American state. They supported a community in this location and named it Worm Creek, however later modified it to Preston. Preston was named when Preston, England, the middle of early [LDS] proselytizing within the kingdom. The Bear watercourse Massacre occurred in 1863 at some extent many miles northwest of Preston. The Bear watercourse Massacre web site could be a National Historic Landmark.
