President William United States President Clinton Birthplace Home National Historic web site is found at 117 South Hervey Street (U.S. Route 278) in Hope, Arkansas.Built in 1917 by Dr. H. S. Garrett, during this house the forty second President of the u. S. William Jefferson Clinton spent the primary four years of his life, having been born at Julia urban center Hospital in Hope on August nineteen, 1946.
The house was closely-held by his grandparents, Edith Grisham and James Eldridge Cassidy, and that they cared for him once his mother, Virginia, was away operating as associate anesthesiologist in point of entry.On May 19, 1994, the location was additional to the National Register of Historic Places. Tours were offered by the Clinton Birthplace Foundation.
