Post may be a town in and therefore the seat of Garza County, Texas, us. The population was 3,708 at the 2000 census. There ar several ranchers and civic boosters in Garza County, among them Giles McCrary, a former politician WHO operates the OS depository, a hybrid of exhibits from each the yank West and Asia, that ar modified thrice annually. Post discovered its centennial in 2007. Festivities began with a parade and were followed by The All-School Reunion Dance, that featured the band Thrift Store Cowboys from Post, Texas. Recent Mill Trade Days offered six hours of live music as well as alternative activities. Throughout the weekend commemoration, there have been art shows, depository exhibits, and theater productions to look at the centennial. In 1987, the Texas Historical Commission selected Post as a Texas Main Street town. Main Street is lined with gift and clothes shops placed in rebuilt historic buildings. Centennial Plaza on the courthouse field honors veterans and Post civic leaders.
