Port Hope may be a municipality in Southern Ontario, Canada, regarding 109 kilometres (68A mi) east of Toronto and regarding 159 kilometres (99A mi) west of Kingston. It’s placed at the mouth of the Ganaraska watercourse on the north shore of Lake Ontario, within the West End of county County. Port Hope’s nearest urban neighbour (7A metric linear unit to the east) is that the city of Cobourg, whereas between them and encompassing Cobourg is that the administrative division of Hamilton. Since 1868, the city has been home to Trinity faculty college (previously placed in Weston, Ontario).
