Pointe-à-Callière repository is that the metropolis repository of anthropology and history situated in recent metropolis, Quebec, Canada. It had been based in 1992 as a part of celebrations to mark Montreal’s 350th birthday. Set atop the city’s birthplace, the repository shows collections of artefacts from the primary Nations of the metropolis region that illustrate however varied cultures coexisted and interacted, and the way the French and British regimes influenced the history of this territory over the years.
Pointe-à-Callière has been recognized as a national historic website since 1998.Since it opened, it’s welcome over 350,000 guests a year. Nearly 4.5 million individuals have return to the repository since 1992. Pointe-à-Callière has been worthy with over fifty national and international awards.
