The town Building, could be a 38-story edifice set at fifty five E. Washington Street within the Loop community space of Chicago, Illinois, USA, that was the city’s tallest building at the time of its completion. The building was selected as a Chicago Landmark on Gregorian calendar month half-dozen, 2002.
The property, within the Jewelers’ Row Landmark District, was developed by heirs of Marshall Field, and is called when town, Massachusetts, wherever Marshall Field obtained his initial job. The near architect Center, at the intersection of Clark Street and Washington Street, was originally named the Conway Building when Conway, Massachusetts – the birthplace of Marshall Field.
