Pinnath, Kausani is known for its temple of the same name, it is located at the foot of the Gopalkot Peak that overlooks the upper portion of the Kosi Valley. The peak is located at an elevation of 2,750 m above sea level. Situated on the way to the peak of the hill above the village, the temple has a small conical structure that sits at a height of 2.5 to 3 m. Dedicated to Bhairon, the temple has a square, slated structure to its north. To the south of the temple lies a door, and is adorned with figures of rajahs on its walls. Indian arch, which has representations of the five Pandavas on its sides, form the roof of the portico. The adytum contains images of Mahadeva and Debi. Every year on October, a famous fair is celebrated at the village.

Train : Nearest railway station is at Kathgodam. Kathgodam railway station to Kausani city is about 142 km, which can be covered by nearly 4 hours and for a cab it costs about Rs 2800, one way. Kathgodam is connected to many cities in the state.
