A new, sandstone-hued interpretative center rises at the foot of Rimrocks wherever graphic symbol Cave has drawn groups of people for over three,000 years.A short 5-mile drive from Billings, the park is a perfect spot to fancy a shady picnic, augment your birding life list, attend AN computer programme, or simply take a stroll within the quiet outdoors. The graphic symbol, Middle and Ghost cave complicated was home to generations of prehistoric hunters. With its teeming life and vegetation, the fertile stream depression provided a perfect encampment for travelers. These caves were the location of Montana’s initial skilled anthropology studies and excavations starting in 1937.
Over 30,000 artifacts are known from the park. A brief sealed path permits guests to look at the rock paintings, called pictographs, that ar still visible in graphic symbol Cave, the most important of the 3. Interpretative signs tell the story of the archaelogical studies.
