The town of Phalodi is located in the Indian state of Rajasthan, and this is a small desert town that can be an ideal destination for those who’re looking to spend a quiet vacation in a tranquil place for some peace of mind. There are many Hindu temples and Jain temples in the region of Phalodi, and there are many havelis and bazaars as well, making travelling to Phalodi even more interesting. While taking a trip to the town of Phalodi, you will have to visit the Lal Niwas, which is one of the must see destinations in the town. This site was once a haveli that was built during the late 1750s, out of pure red sandstone. The site has now been converted into a heritage hotel.  This site will thus transport you way back to the time of the Rajputs . You can also visit the Phalodi fort, when in Phalodi. Built during the 1488 AD, this is another important tourist destination in the region. There are many temples to visit in the region including the Sun temple, Mahavira temple, Sachiya Mata temple, and Temple of Ramdevra.

Phalodi is a city and a municipality in Jodhpur district in the Indian state of Rajasthan. Phalodi is thought to have been founded in the 15th century. In the books of history this town was famous for Jain and Hindu temples. It is believed that some of these temples are over 300 years old. There are a number of havelis in Phalodi.History buffs will love visiting this place, as the haveli will be filled with artefacts, jharokhas, courtyards with inscriptions and carvings on the walls, jaalis and chandeliers.

By Train : Trains can be taken directly to the railway station in Phalodi. This railway station has frequent trains to the cities and towns of Bikaner, Jaisalmer, Lalgarh, Old Delhi, and Jodhpur. Train fares will depend on the class of travel availed. Non air conditioned sleeper coaches will normally cost around Rs 280 to 290 from Delhi to Phalodi. You can also opt for air conditioned coaches, which will be more comfortable.

By Bus : Buses can be a comfortable option for local travel, as bus travel for long distances will be very uncomfortable. Bus services have run continuously from Jodhpur (3 hours) and Bikaner (3 hours).

By Taxi : There are a number of cabs or taxis that ferry passengers from Jodhpur (3 hours) and Bikaner (3 hours).
