The Perkinsville Bridge over the Verde stream was inbuilt 1921. It had been listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989. It’s a Pratt through bridge and its significance is beneath Transportation (Criteria A) and Engineering (Criteria C).
In Pratt truss bridges, the inside diagonals slope down towards the middle, and square measure beneath tension. Vertical components square measure beneath compression.
