The Paul and woman Hilliard University Art deposit may be a deposit settled in Lafayette, Louisiana. In 1964, Lafayette businessperson and giver, Maurice Heymann given to the University of Southwestern Louisiana (USL), currently University Of Louisiana at Lafayette, three-acres of land settled on the corner of East Saint The Virgin avenue and moneyman Park Drive for the aim of building the Art Center for Southwestern Louisiana.
In 1965, USL Foundation began coming up with for the development and operation of the new Center. Beginning with a fund of $100,000, the inspiration began a campaign to secure an extra $100,000. Construction on the middle began in Gregorian calendar month 1967 and also the building opened to the general public in March 1968. The new Center, a duplicate of the dwelling house (Darrow, Louisiana), a nineteenth century Louisiana stream Road plantation house, was designed by A. Hays Town. In 2002, Lafayette residents, Paul and woman Hilliard, given UL Lafayette Foundation a lead gift of $3 million for the development of a brand new $8.4 million University Art deposit. The new Paul and woman Hilliard University Art deposit opened in Gregorian calendar month 2004.
