Parowan could be a city in and therefore the county courthouse of Iron County, Utah, us. Parowan became the primary incorporated town in Iron County in 1851. A fort that had been created on the side of Center Creek the previous year was AN initial within the development of ironworks within the region. Parowan served because the agricultural support base for the native iron business, whose furnace was placed in near Cedar town. Eventually, the ironworks were decommissioned.
