The Park Row Building could be a building on Park Row within the monetary District of the big apple town borough of Manhattan conjointly referred to as fifteen Park Row. The building was designed by R. H. Robertson, a pioneer in steel edifice style, and designed by the firm of Nathaniel Roberts. In 1999, the big apple town Landmarks Preservation Commission selected the Park Row Building a landmark.In 2000, plans were developed for a gut renovation of the whole structure. It enclosed changing all floors higher than the eleventh into 210 rental flats, at a value of over $30 million. All floors below the eleventh were to stay business. By 2002 initial renovations and residential conversions were completed. Currently, floors two through eight square measure part occupied by J&R Music World, Inc. Residential units presently occupy floors eleven to twenty six, with new units being made on floors nine and ten. The try of flats that may be shaped by 2 three-story cupolas on floors twenty eight through thirty haven’t been restored.
