Park Monument is commonly known as Aayi Mandapam which is situated inside the Bharathi Park in Pondicherry. This monument was constructed during the 16th century, when Napoleon III ruled France. It was named after the famous courtesan Aayi and is one of the oldest structures in the town. This monument has carved granite pillars and stone carvings of different gods and yallis.
