Parisian Laundry is a cultural centre and exhibition space for contemporary art. It is located in Saint Henri, Montréal, Canada.Parisian Laundry is above all a cultural centre for the Montreal community. It is an exhibition space that supports local, national and international artists in the diffusion of their actual works as well as artist retrospectives that have marked the cultural scene in a significant way.
Parisian Laundry’s activities include performances, exhibitions and residencies for artists. The space can be adapted to respond to the artists’ needs including projects that require the use of different media, sound, film, projection, printing processes etc.
In parallel with this program, Parisian Laundry also organizes conferences and events that seek to stimulate a dialogue between the artistic community and the greater public. Parisian Laundry also collaborates with diverse artistic organizations as well as institutions of higher education in order to offer a broad cultural programming.
