Historical Museum in Dukla is located in castle from 18th century. The residence was completely rebuilt in 1764 and 1765 by Jerzy August Mniszech and his wife Maria Amalia from The BrĂźhl Family. The residence was erected in the entre cour et garden style and during those times regarded as one of the most beautiful in Poland. Castle owners had an interesting painting gallery, library and theatre. The palace was surrounded by park with symmetrical arrangement of alleys, ponds, trees and flowers. In 19th century the residence belonged to The Mecinski Family. During the war destroyed, then reconstructed.
