Parás may be a rural municipal city within the state of Nuevo León, Mexico, based on Feb seventeen, 1851. It lies concerning forty five minutes southwest of the Falcón Reservoir in Tamaulipas. It had been once “Rancho Huizachal First State los Canales”. The name Parás springs from Jose María Parás y Ballesteros, the primary constitutional governor of Nuevo León. Before the settlement the land was Gualeno Indian Tribe Territory and left several artefact the largest being Piedras Pintas simply some miles northwest of the city.
