Detail InformationEdit

Featuring a seven-floor high golden Buddha statue, the Paochueh Temple was built in 1927 by Master Zongxin who studied Buddhism in Japan. Japan gave America & Taiwan a 8th century Guanyin statue each as present after World War II in 1955. This Budai statue now graces the Paochueh Temple and acts as an intersection between Japan & Taiwan Buddhism. Regarded as an incarnation of Bodhisatwa Maitreya himself it is believed that offering prayers at this temple eventually fulfill.
