Gugga Naumi ; Venue:  Panipat ; Period :  August-September. ; Details:  In all over Haryana it is celebrated in honor of Gugga Pir. It is connected with snake-worship and observed in August-September. Gugga Pir is also known as Zahir Pir (the saint). He was reputed to have the power of curing people of snake-bite.
Lohri ; Venue:  Panipat ; Period :  January. ; Details:  In the state of Haryana, the Lohri is celebrated in just before ‘Makar Sakranti’ on the day of 13th January. This festival is very popular in Punjabi’s community. On the occasion of child birth and marriages peoples are very excited to celebrate this festival. After the gathering the people throw sweets, puffed rice and popcorn into the flames.
Gangore ; Venue:  Panipat ; Period :  March-April ; Details:  In the month of March-April the people celebrated Gangore festival. It is celebrated to the honor of Gauri the Goddess of abundance. Idols of Ishwar and Gangore are taken out in procession and songs in their praise are sung till they are immersed into water. Girls dress up in their finest clothes and pray for a spouse of their choice, while married ladies do the same for the happiness of their husbands.
