Panch Peer is an important religious site that is situated on the National Highway 1A in the vicinity of the Palace of the Maharaja. According to popular folklore, five saints used this site for meditation. The graves of those saints can now be seen there. Devotees from different parts of the country visit this site to commemorate the saints.

Paanch Peer is one of the important pilgrim sites, which reflect the religious fervour of the local inhabitants. As per legend, five religious men worshipped and mediated at the site. The holy graves of these sages are visited by ardent devotees from around the country.The site is located in close proximity to the Palace of the Maharaja of Jammu and Kashmir on National Highway 1A.One of the holiest site in Jammu.The shrine has the resting place of five saints and is located near the Maharaja’s palace on Jammu-Srinagar highway.The Dargah of Panch Peer is a holiest shrine of Muslim religion that is situated on the Jammu-Srinagar NH1A in the close vicinity of the erstwhile Majaraha palace of Dogra dynasty. According to legend, five saints used this place for preaching and meditation. Now, there are graves of those five saints and it is thronged by the devotees from different parts of the country.
