Detail InformationEdit

An eclectic building with both Gothic and Neoclassical elements. Designed by the architect Josep Mas towards the end of the 18th century. This palace, was commissioned by the Marquises of Moja and designed by the architect Josep Mas between 1775 and 1790. Its style is clearly influenced by the latter end of the Baroque period, along with French Neoclassical influences. In the 19th century it became the Marquis of Comillas residence, who made a few changes to the building, such as redesigning and decorating the staircase of honour. Nowadays it is the site of the Cultural Heritage Ministry of the Generalitat Catalana (Catalonian Autonomous Government).
