Painganga wildlife sanctuary is situated at a distance of about 424 sq. km. It is Situated in Yavatmal district and the Painganga river borders it on three sides. Animals like tigers, sloth beers, wild dogs, sambar, nilgai, chinkara, cheetal etc. and birds like bulbuls, rollers, cuckoos, vultures, kites, eagles and so on are found here.
