Pahaska collapsible shelter is William “Buffalo Bill” Cody’s previous house and building within the U.S. State of Equality State. It’s settled fifty miles west of the city of showman and 2 miles from the east entrance to river park. {cody|Cody|William F. Showman|William Frederick Cody|Buffalo Bill|Buffalo Bill Cody|showman|promoter|impresario} designed Pahaska collapsible shelter to accommodate tourists traveling up the Cody Road on the North Fork of the Shoshone stream to go to river.
While on a campaign in Nov 1901, showman marked the placement of the house with a hand axe. Ibrahim Archibald “A. A.” Anderson designed Pahaska for showman someday throughout 1902 or 1903 and construction started shortly once. The grand gap of Pahaska collapsible shelter was proclaimed on Gregorian calendar month five, 1904 within the showman newspaper. In Nov 1904 showman LED an oversized looking party from his new lodge for a 10 day hunt. Construction was completed in 1905, and also the lodge was opened to guests.
Today, Pahaska collapsible shelter operates as a mountain resort and also the original house is open for tours. Pahaska collapsible shelter was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1973.
