Owen Sound the seat of gray County, could be a town in Southern (Southwestern) Ontario, Canada. Owen Sound is found at the mouths of the Pottawatomi ANd doctor Rivers on an body of water of Georgian Bay named Owen Sound Bay. This space of the higher Great Lakes was 1st formally surveyed in 1815 by William Fitzwilliam Owen and Lieutenant Henry W. Bayfield. The body of water was named “Owen’s Sound” in honour of Admiral Sir Edward William mythologist wealthy Owen, the somebody Owen’s older brother.
