Ostrovačice is a small town in Brno-Country District in the South Moravian Region of the Czech Republic. The town covers an area of 7.82 square kilometres (3.02 sq mi), and has a population of 606 (as at 3 July 2006). Ostrovačice lies approximately 15 kilometres (9 mi) west of Brno and 175 km (109 mi) south-east of Prague.
