The city Science Center (OSC) may be a personal not-for-profit corporation, organized beneath the laws of the State of FL, USA, and placed in city. Its functions area unit to produce experience-based opportunities for learning concerning science and technology and to market public understanding of science.
The city Science Center may be accredited by the yank Association of Museums (AAM) and is a member of the Association of Science-Technology Centers (ASTC). The city Science Center is member supported and sponsored partially by United Arts of Central FL, Inc., the State of FL, Department of State, Division of Cultural Affairs and therefore the FL Arts Council.
The city Science Center is open year spherical, and closed on Wednesdays throughout the college year, except on Orange County Public faculties holidays. In addition, the city Science Center is open on most holidays apart from Easter, Thanksgiving, holiday, and xmas Day.
