Oracabessa could be a community in St The Virgin, Jamaica ten miles (16 km) east of Ocho Rios. Its population was four,108 in 2009.
Lit within the afternoons by associate apricot light-weight that will have galvanized its Spanish name Oracabeza, or “Golden Head”, it’s a friendly city with a lined manufacture market and a couple of retailers and bars. The most street could be a pleasant and sleek promenade with variety of well-maintained buildings within the early twentieth century Jamaican vernacular tradition.
To the east Oracabessa merges into a residential community that is that the web site of luxury villas like Goldeneye, Golden Clouds and Firefly Estate, once the house of Noël Coward. To the immediate west of Oracabessa is that the village of Boscobel, home of Ian Fleming International airdrome, Jamaica’s newest international airdrome.
