Old house of worship United Methodist Church is found at 222 Calhoun St., Charleston, South geographic region. The church was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1975. The building was originally designed at fifty five Pitt St. At the corner with Calhoun St. To exchange a church inbuilt 1797-1798. It had been it had been moved to this location in 1880 once having been given to the black members of a close-by congregation.
The building was originally arrange|an idea|a thought|a concept|an inspiration} meeting house with an easy rectangular plan. The porch with its four fluted columns was other once the building was moved to its gift website. The columns have changed Tower of the Winds kind capitals. The galleried interior is plainly finished.
