Oil town may be a town in Venango County, Pennsylvania that’s best-known within the initial exploration and development of the rock oil trade. Once the primary oil wells were trained near within the decennary, Oil town became central within the rock oil trade whereas hosting headquarters for the Pennzoil, Quaker State, and Wolf’s Head fuel firms. Touristry plays a distinguished role within the region by promoting oil heritage sites, nature trails, and Victorian architecture. The population was ten,557 at the 2010 census.
