The Ohio Resource Center (ORC) for arithmetic, Science, and Reading, a project of the State University Education Deans, has been funded by the Ohio General Assembly and established by the Ohio Board of Regents.
The role of the ORC is to spot best practices, to broadcast this data to a large form of user audiences, then to help with implementing, institutionalizing, and sustaining these preK–16 practices across the Ohio instructional system. ORC uses proposal processes and subcontracts with two- and four-year educational activity establishments and alternative preK–12 education suppliers for aggregating best practices data, developing interactive information and information bases, diffusive best practices data, and conducting applied analysis on required areas vital to the state instructional system.
