North Providence could be a city in Providence County, Rhode Island, u. s.. The population was thirty two,078 at the 2010 census. The city has the excellence of being the littlest by space (5.8 sq. miles) within the smallest state (1,214 square miles). although at just one.29 sq. miles (3.3 km2), the town of Central Falls is Rhode Island’s smallest municipality. Warren holds the title for smallest city (8.6 sq. miles) within the smallest county (45 sq. miles) of the littlest state. Despite its tiny footprint, North Providence has the eighth-highest population of Rhode Island’s thirty-nine cities and cities, and therefore the second-highest of the state’s cities once Coventry, Rhode Island’s largest municipality by expanse.
