North Ice was the name of a hunt station of country North Greenland Expedition (1952 to 1954) on the midland ice of Greenland. The station was situated at altitude of two,345 metres higher than water level. Country North Greenland Expedition was junction rectifier by Commander James Simpson RN.
The station recorded the bottom temperature ever in Greenland with −66.1 °C,( -87 F ) on Jan nine, 1954. The name of the station contrasts to the previous British South Ice station in Antarctic continent.
