Norfolk could be a city in Litchfield County, Connecticut, us. The population was one,660 at the 2000 census. By the late nineteenth century, however, rail connections to the big apple, Hartford, city and state capital gave guests prepared access to Norfolk’s cool summers and clean air, and Norfolk presently evolved into a trendy resort as its little trade declined. The city has ever since had a active “summer colony.” Like many alternative cities within the Litchfield Hills, Norfolk has, in additional recent years, developed a large population of “weekenders” from the big apple town and geographic region.
