Noor Masjid is often considered one of the prominent mosques of Karnataka and is located in the middle of the town on the National Highway. Originally built in 1966, the old version of the mosque was demolished and replaced by this new one in 1987. It is estimated that thousands of Muslims can pray in this masjid at a time.
