Nihiru, or Nikia, is one among the Tuamotu atolls in French Polynesia. It’s a comparatively tiny coral reef set forty nine kilometre to the east of Makemo coral reef and thirty kilometre northeast of Marutea coral reef. Nihiru coral reef is roughly triangular in form. It measures fourteen kilometre long with a most breadth of ten.5 km. Its lagune has a region of seventy nine km².
