New urban center Reformed Church is that the fourth oldest church in borough, New York. The church was established in 1677 within the city of latest urban center and is connected with the Reformed Church in America, a Protestant denomination. The current church was in-built 1828 of stones taken from the first church in-built 1700. The parish house was in-built 1892 and therefore the rectory in 1906.
The Liberty Pole, the sixth on the location of the current church, was originally erected in 1783 at the top of the Revolutionary War to harass outward-bound British troops.
