New Marlborough could be a city in Berkshire County, Massachusetts, u. S.. It’s a part of the town, Massachusetts Metropolitan applied math space. The population was one,494 at the 2000 census. New Marlborough consists of 5 villages: Clayton, Hartsville, Mill River, New Marlborough Village and Southfield. New Marlborough is found within the lower Berkshires, dotted by many peaks. Many rivers, together with the Konkapot watercourse, Umpachene watercourse, and Whiting watercourse, flow through the city, all of that feed into the Housatonic River. There are many swamps and ponds, together with Lake Buel on the town line, and therefore the Thousand Acre Swamp within the southeast corner. The swamp lies on the border of Campbells Falls State Park, named for the falls on the Whiting watercourse. Components of Sandisfield State Forest additionally exist the city.
