Detail InformationEdit

St John Nepomuc is the saint of water and bridges.
As Sillian experienced recurrent flood disasters, the so-called “Johannesstöckl” was built next to the “Johannesbachl” stream (which is channelled now) at around 1750. In 1929, it was relocated to its present position due to traffic. The monument was refurbished in 2001.
