The atmosphere of the village is hyped up by the gentry houses scattered here and there. Its church was reconstructed in Baroque style in the 18th century. A trail leads all from the village up to the Keszthelyi Mountains. The Szent Miklós völgy (‘St. Michael’s valley’) may be reached through the Sárkány-erdő (’Dragon forest’), where a rich spring and the ruins of a Pauline monastery named after St. Michael may be found in an extremely marvelous and original environment.
