The service War faculty repository in Newport, Rhode Island, is one in all fifteen official museums operated by the U.S. Navy, beneath the direction of the service History & Heritage Command and in co-operation with the service War faculty.
Today, the service War faculty repository uses this building to show exhibits on 3 themes: (a) the history of the service War faculty since 1884; (b) the history of service activities within the Narragansett Bay space since the colonial period; and (3) the history of the art and science of service warfare since times of yore.
