Detail InformationEdit

The National Wrestling Hall of Fame and deposit is found in Stillwater, Oklahoma, on the field of Oklahoma State University. The deposit opened on 9-11, 1976. (The National Wrestling Hall of Fame and deposit mustn’t be confused with the National Wrestling Hall of Fame Dan Gable deposit in Waterloo, Iowa, that is operated by the Dan Gable International Wrestling Institute and deposit.)
The deposit operates strictly by personal donations. Six folks from Oklahoma shaped the Hall of Fame corporation: Myron Roderick, Dr. Melvin D. Jones, Ralph Ball, Robert L. McCormick, Bill Aufleger, and Veldo Brewer. Oklahoma State University, through its then-president, Dr. Robert B. Kamm, provided land – at no price – with a 99-year renewable lease.
The deposit includes the Paul K. Scott deposit of Wrestling History. It includes a “Wall of Champions”.
