Narsaq suggests that “plain” in Greenlandic. The name is owing to the big, inexperienced plain on that the city sits. With its central location in an exceedingly large fiord system, Narsaq may be a smart place to start a trip of South Greenland. The glaciers north of the city make sure that there ar icebergs close toly all the time around Narsaq and therefore the fiord near Narsaq ground is made in seals, salmon, trout and minke whales. The temperature ranges from and 22º C in summer to minus 17º C in winter.
