Nanguneri is small town that is located in the Tirunelveli District in the State of Tamil Nadu. Nanguneri is located around 19 km from the headquarters of the district and has good bus services. The town has become significant due to the Vishnu Temple that is located in the town. There are many devotees of Lord Vishnu in the district and also the surrounding areas and many pilgrims flock to visit the temple and receive the blessings of the God. There are several other temples that are also located in the town and all of them are visited by devotees throughout the year. Some of the temples that are located in the town are the many Ayyanar Temples, Suadali Madan Temples, Muthuraman Temples and many other smaller shrines.There are festivals that are held in these temples and they are a good time to visit the place.
